This allows you to trim the pads to size to fit all makes and models of vehicles. They heat-up faster and warmer due to larger diameter carbon fibre strands and tight grid design. SOL-Ace heated seats only sell and install top quality carbon fibre heated seat kits. There are many reasons why you should buy carbon fibre heated seats as opposed to wire kits.

1. Longer lasting than wire
2. Heat up quicker than wire
3. Much more even spread of heat - the pad heats evenly

Whereas Wire ones:

1. They can short out and/or catch fire
2. Wear out - carbon-fibre won't
3. Less versatile - won't fit many cars/vans
4. Harder to fit than carbon fibre

In wire seats the copper element is likely to break down within 2-3 years and can catch fire. The benefit of carbon fibre is that it requires very little voltage to produce a lot of heat. Our carbon fibre elements can be cut and holes can be made in the middle to allow you to keep the shape of your channels.

The difference between the kits:

Heat Settings

The seat heater switch supplied with the Gold Kit offers high and low temperature settings. This switch is a 2 colour illuminated rocker style switch. Whilst the Gold plus kit offer 5 heat settings.

Pressure sensors

Both the Gold and Gold Plus kits have pressure sensors. The seat heaters will only operate when a passenger is sitting in the seat.

The Gold kit come with 4 heating pads, wiring and looms for 2 seats. The Gold Plus kit has 8 pads, wiring and looms for front and rear seats.

Heated Mobility Scooter Seat

Did you know you can have heated seats on a mobility scooter?

Using our proven two-stage switch carbon fibre heat pads, you can make life more comfortable when you're out and about.

As long as it has a cover that isn't glued on, you could have heated seats installed. We can fit them to the back and the bum parts of the seat - the carbon fibre pads are thin so you won't feel them - all you'll feel is the warmth coming through to make your trips out that bit more bearable in the cold weather.

How many heat settings are there?

You can choose between high and low heat settings, as well as off.


Will they last?

Being Carbon fibre, they won't burn out like wire heaters do. We also give you a 1 year warranty.

Will using the heated seats affect my battery life?

Your battery won't last as long when using the heated seat, however most people find that their battery has more than enough performance to meet their everyday needs AND still use the heated seat.

If range is an issue, it may be possible to have another battery or one with a higher capacity. If you need this, talk to us about the possibility of fitting an extra battery.
